Damir Doma presents for Spring/Summer 2015 his first exhibition. A new format presented at the house of Damir Doma to view the collection including an installation, a film with an original music composition and an exclusive magazine that explores the current collection. This multi-disciplinary look at the season and the house sheds light on the brand’s story and creative process.

The collection observes the profound symmetry and endless irregularities of nature. Mérit Oppenheim’s “Portrait with  Tattoos” a close up of the artist’s face superimposed with butterfly wing markings, launches a reflection on pattern, texture, and the balance between design and practicality, formality and casualness. Unconventional compositions of very simple pieces rearrange the everyday. Fresh air blows into minimalist pieces via flower markings, lopsided paint stroke dots and irregular laser cutouts. Fabric is enhanced with texture and pattern. Color is a play of shadow and shine. A slightly alternative reality emerges where elegance unites with casualness and natural symmetry is just slighly askew.
